How to prevent and improve sagging skin as we age

Sep 07, 2023

As we age, our skin naturally loses elasticity, which can lead to sagging. This can be particularly noticeable in the face, neck, and décolletage area. However, there are steps you can take to prevent and improve sagging skin from 30 to 50 years old.

Protect your skin from the sun: UV rays from the sun can damage the collagen and elastin in your skin, which is responsible for keeping it firm and elastic. Wear sunscreen every day, even on cloudy days, and try to limit your time in the sun during peak hours. Make adding an SPF 50+ part of your morning skin-care routine, and reapply when necessary.

I’ve found the skin on the side of my face that is exposed to the sun when I’m driving has more pigmentation than the other, a sure sign that my skin has been exposed to UV rays, so a quick tip is to keep a small tube of SPF on the dashboard!

Maintain a healthy diet: Eating a diet that is high in antioxidants, such as fruits and vegetables, can help protect your skin from damage. Also, avoid foods that are high in sugar and processed foods.

Exercise regularly: Exercise can help increase blood flow to the skin, which can help keep it looking healthy and firm. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise most days of the week.

Get enough sleep: Your skin repairs itself while you sleep, so make sure you are getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep each night.

Quit smoking: Smoking can damage your skin and accelerate the aging process. If you smoke, quitting is one of the best things you can do for your skin.

Use skincare products that promote collagen production: Collagen is a protein that gives skin strength and elasticity. As we age, our body produces less collagen. Using skincare products that contain retinol or other collagen-stimulating ingredients can help promote collagen production and keep your skin looking youthful.

Consider non-invasive treatments: Sublime 571 offers a range of non-invasive treatments such as micro-needling, chemical peels, PDO threads, and biostimulants ( Sculptra and Profhilo) that can help stimulate collagen production and improve the overall appearance of your skin.

Dark circles under the eyes are a common problem that affects many people. They can make you look tired, sick, or older than you actually are. In this post, I’ll explore what causes dark circles and two effective treatments for them: NCTF 135 HA boost and microneedling. What causes dark circles under the eyes? There are many causes of dark circles under the eyes, including genetics, aging, sleep deprivation, allergies, sun exposure, and dehydration. However, the most common cause is thinning skin and loss of volume due to aging. As we age, the skin under our eyes becomes thinner and less elastic. This can cause the blood vessels and dark tissues under the skin to become more visible, resulting in dark circles. In addition, the loss of volume can create shadows that further emphasize the darkness. How to treat dark circles under the eyes? There are many ways to treat dark circles under the eyes, including lifestyle changes, skincare products, and cosmetic procedures, staying hydrated and reducing your dietary salt intake. In this post, We’ll focus on 4 popular treatments: Skin Care, skin peels and NCTF 135 HA Boost and micro-needling. NCTF 135 HA Boost for dark circles NCTF 135 HA Boost is a non-invasive treatment that involves injecting a customized cocktail of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids into the skin under the eyes, with a revolutionary device called the nanosoft needle, which is the smallest needle on the market. This cocktail is designed to improve the quality and appearance of the skin by stimulating collagen production, reducing inflammation, and increasing circulation. NCTF 135 HA Boost is a safe and effective treatment for dark circles, as it targets the underlying causes of the problem. The treatment can also be customized to address other issues, such as wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin. Sublime 571 has designed a specific luxury in clinic treatment called the Sublime Eye Treatment, which includes a light peel to boost and hydrate the skin further
